We are constructing a family house in the city district of Žilina - on a steep hill of Budatín with a view of Žilina and the Váh River.

A word from the architects:
The disadvantage of the plot is the orientation of the slope to the northwest, which we compensate for with a generous southwest terrace. The entrance to the house is solved by a covered staircase from the carport. Barrier-free access (e.g. for a stroller) is possible from the corner of the plot via a ramp.
The house has wooden cladding without surface treatment, which will pleasantly gray over time. It is interrupted by a lee with dark metal cladding in the color of the window frames and attic. The house will have an air-to-water heat pump and equal-pressure ventilation with recuperation. The combination of an extensive green roof and photovoltaic panels is advantageous due to the lower surface temperature of the panels, which increases their efficiency.
